A Simple Little Speaking Tip
by Michelle Cox

Some people consider death preferable to speaking in front of a
group of people. I must admit I once felt the same way. I've
found one of the most important keys is to be prepared. That
sounds simple but it's true. Knowing your subject well will
provide confidence.

I've personally found that going through my presentation five
times before speaking makes me comfortable when I stand up
to speak. I highlight key words in my notes. Because I've gone
through the material so many times, I've found that all I have to
do is glance at the word and the next section clicks into my
mind.
